We are in full swing of the wedding season! We now have beautiful weather in Missouri which also means LOTS of engagement sessions, which I LOVE! Chris and Lindsay were my couple yesterday and they were so wonderful to work with. So much spirit and love in both of them. You can tell from the pictures there is such a fun connection between the two of them. They told me Lindsay is the funny one and Chris is the romantic one...sound like a relationship made in heaven to me!

I did a very fun session yesterday with Jeff and Kristen. They are my Cinco de Mayo wedding! So this is one year you will not find me celebrating my (30 something) birthday in a Mexican restaurant, but instead photographing the wedding of the coolest couple! ;-) When they called and told me they had set the date and asked me if I was available it was a very easy YES! I have known Jeff for years and when I met Kristen she seemed like the perfect match for him. Every time I have seen them they are always laughing and smiling and are so happy. I want to thank them both for trusting me to be the one to photograph such a great day. I'm very excited for them both!

Here is a fun pic of Jim and Katarina Garner, me, and Scott Robert. This was right after Jim's WPPI win for studio album. We were all so proud of him after watching all the hard work he has put in. Congrats once again!
Okay guys here are a few photographers you should get to know! Standing to the right of me is Scott Robert Lim. He was featured in Rangefinder in March. We are also doing a workshop together Sept 9-13. Great photographer and a very good friend of mine. Then me in the white Jacket. The only difference is I have NO braces anymore! Yeah!! ;-) On the other side of me is DJ Ellis of La Bella Vita Photography. He is an amazing photographer and just a blast to be around. We met while I was assisting Bambi in one of her courses last summer. I did notice DJ and my friend Jim are sporting the same style...Hmmmm. Now the question is who had it first?! haha Just kidding guys! Next to DJ is Rosa and Daniel Tseng. Rosa is also a featured photographer in the March issue of Rangefinder. I met Rosa while training with Yervant & Bambi in Australia last year. We hit it of and I have missed her every since!
Much Luv to you all!

To all of the photographers out there, you need to go to www.goboda.com and check out this awesome bag. There has been so much thought and work go into the design of this product. It took a very hard working photographer to come up with the perfect lens bag, but he did it! They are now taking orders and giving a discounts to all of the first orders coming in. I have been personally using this bag for months now and I promise it is everything I say it is. Take a look I think you will be impressed. Besides the website is interactive, how fun is that! ;-)

Wow! This was such a fun bridal session. Angela is a bride who is up for anything you can throw at her. Due to the cold weather we decided to stay indoors, I think we made the most of our time together! I threw in a couple of pictures of her laughing because this is who she is. She is always happy smiling and laughs all the time :-) All I had to do was tell her to be serious and she would bust up laughing...Loved it! Her dress was so cool. She had it made from materials she collected while on mission trips. How special is that! Thanks for the great session Angela, can't wait for Saturday to get here!

So I have to admit it to everybody...I have the BEST couples! Everytime I leave a session I always feel so great. I have such a connection with everyone of my brides and it is just amazing! Stacy and Nic came to meet with me awhile back. They did not have a church yet so they were unable to book. Stacy would call and let me know where she was on everything but it just did not seem like it was going to work out. I was booking up so fast and they wanted a June date, but still no church for them to get married in. It was so strange every date was filled up in June except the one they were trying for. I had bookings as far out as Aug 2008 but their date never did book (second
Saturday in June...CRAZY!) Then a couple of months later she called and needless to say
we were both so happy because her date was still open! So this session was a blast and I am so happy I was able to do it. I always say I fall a little in love with every couple and Stacy and Nic were no exception!

Here it is! Well I have to say Kyla looked amazing! Doing Kyla's wedding was so amazing and such an honor. It was like doing one of my own children's wedding...okay maybe a sister.. haha! They were wonderful to work with and asked no questions...just what I like :-) Kyla wanted me to have creative Freedom all through her day so she just let me have at it. I will post more pictures a little later but this is what I have had time to work on while she has been gone on her honeymoon....to Paris! I love these two so much and I hope I gave them what they were looking for on such a blessed day.
Love to you both!

I had a great time with these two! Great couple so much fun, I can't wait for the wedding. They are a downtown couple so that is where we decided to shoot their session.
I think we really caught the fun spirit of this couple. I feel so blessed that they went with me as their photographer. Thanks Angela and Wade!
