Jim Garner Wins WPPI Album Competition!

I have to say I could not have been happier when one of my closest friends won WPPI's album competition.Jim Garner is a huge rising star in the photography industry. You should check out his website and his blog. He has started doing episodes of a show called "The Studio", It is SO funny! He also has an lens bag line called Boda Bag that is just better than any other product I've seen on the market. Check out Jim's work, I'm sure you will be blown away! Congrats to Jim and his wonderful wife Katarina!

Baby Sophia

Shallina Bowers came by today and we put our heads together to come up with this birth announcemt for her new daughter Sophia. Shallina is very creative and wanted to send her family and friends an unique announcement. What do you guys think? Sophia is a member of our Baby Club so look for more picture of her and her big sister Shalla to come!

Kyla's getting married!!!!

Okay many of you have talked with her if not met her, Kyla my production artist is tying the knot March 31st! It is going to be so exciting to be a part of her wedding day. We have big plans of shooting the day away, so check back to see how her images turn out. She is marrying her true love Nate Knight, great guy! I feel so blessed to have her in my business and to have the honor of being her photographer.

Photography Workshop w/ Scott Robert Lim

I have been asked by LA photographer Scott Robert Lim to teach a photography workshop with him. It is going to be a great experience for all involved. This is a part of his "Next Level" tour. The workshop is just what the name says, it is about getting your images and business to the next level. It looks to be the second week of Sept, but I will be posting all the details soon. Bambi Cantrell & Jim Garner

Wow! I have had one amazing year. Then to start off this wedding season by being invited to photograph a wedding with Bambi Cantrell was unbelievable! She was just named one of the top 10 photographers in the world. A well deserved honor! Bambi also invited Seattle photographer Jim Garner to shoot this wedding along side her. He is also an incredible talent and an all around brilliant photographer. I owe both of these photographers so much for sharing their talent and hearts with me.

Urban Kids!

Yesterday I got to shoot my favorite session, beside weddings, Urban Kids!! I had so much fun with Renee from Fast Frames (an awesome frame shop here in Springfield)and her grandkids Landry and Kyler. These two were a ton of fun and I can't wait to do it again.
